| Nokia 5130 XpressMusic Launched in India Posted: 24 Feb 2009 02:32 AM PST
Nokia has launched its new XpressMusic phone the Nokia 5130 in India. This one comes much after Nokia launched the Nokia 5320 XpressMusic. Anyway, this music phone has a 2 megapixel snapper, FM radio, MP3 playback functionality, Bluetooth connectivity and microUSB support. These days they are giving microUSB support in most of their phones. Nokia is trying to connect with music lovers by offering local music content in five languages, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The phone will come with a 1GB memory card and the content mentioned above will come loaded on that card. Users will get 50 pre-loaded songs with Nokia 5130 XpressMusic. The phone is priced at INR 6,699. At this price point, Nokia 5130 will get a lot of buyers. Apart from the hands free music listening functionality, Nokia 5130 has pretty loud speakers for music playback. The phone has come pretty late in India given the fact that it was announced in November 2008. [Via: Livemint] |

Just imagine, you are not feeling well and you want to know what exactly has happened to you immediately. What do you? May be a call a doc and ask? Yeah, that is the best way but now you can use your cell phone and it will tell you the cause of your illness. Applied Nanodetectors, a UK based company has successfully come up with a prototype of a cell phone, that can detect the diseases by just analyzing the user's breathe. The prototype is actually a Nokia N95, which has been fitted with a AND chip that has the ability to detect as well as analyze composition of gases including CO2, NOx and ammonia. The company is planning to market this phone in Japan and European market with the help of Nokia. Now Nokia has a pretty good presence in Europe but recently, Nokia moved out of Japan and will only sell it's Vertu brand in this market, which Nokia was not bale to crack. So is it that Nokia's Vertu branded premium phones with come equipped with this chip for the rich and famous?? Time will tell. [Via: HotCellularPhone] |
