Next Samsung Armani Handset to have Windows Mobile 6.5 Posted: 24 Feb 2009 06:23 PM PST Next Samsung Armani handset will be based on Windows Mobile 6.5. WinMO 6.5 was launched at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress 2009. This new handset has been confirmed by the mobile marketing division of Samsung Taiwan. We all are familiar with the Samsung and Armani connection that happened way back in 2007. They cam up with a Samsung Armani branded mobile phone for the rich and the famous. The phone didn't do that well in the market and Samsung also tied up with Armani for its other products like LCD/Plasmas, notebooks etc. Anyway, the first Samsung Armani handset had a full touch screen interface but there is no news on what will this new version running Windows Mobile 6.5 sport, a touch scree, touch screen + keyboard or just keyboard. Given the latest craze of touch screens among users, it will obviously have a touch screen, I don't need to tell you that.
