Nokia's Ovi store is generating daily downloads of just under one million per day. This is the statement of George Lionards, who is the VP of product and Media with Nokia. He also said that the Ovi store downloads are increasing 100% month on month. That means that may be by Jan 2010, the Ovi store will surpass 1 million downloads. You will also get to see a new revamped Ovi store soon, which will make the current experience a better one along with robust support of downloads, it will be called Ovi Store 2.0 and will have a promising User Interface. He also said that, phones, which already come pre-loaded with the Ovi client have high conversion rates. I agree to this fact that the probability of any user using the Ovi store is high if the client is pre-loaded on the phone.

Nokia has announced one more touch screen phone, which Comes With Music. Say hi to Nokia 5235. It is the successor of the Nokia 5230 touch screen phone, which was launched a few months back. I guess Nokia is going crazy after launching touch screen based music phones. Anyway, apart from Comes With Music, the phone runs on Symbian S60 5th Edition and features a 2 mega pixel snapper and a 3.2 inch touch screen. Talking about Comes With Music, you can download music on the phone for 12 to 18 months and also store it on microSD cards. Nokia 5235 will be available in the first quarter of 2010 and will be price around 145 Euros.
