HTC has officially launched the HTC Leo a.k.a HTC HD2. The Snapdragon processors powered smart phone has a massive touch screen, which you can make out from the picture above. The Windows Mobile 6.5 powered phone leaked before its official release and was named as HTC Leo but its was later confirmed that it will be called HTC HD2 and why not, look at that massive touch screen. The phone will be releasing in Europe in the month of October and then will be coming to other countries, so by the time it comes to India, if at all, you would have lot of reviews and news about its functioning floating here and there. By looking at the specs it seems to be a feature packed smart phone. The phones boasts of a 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen, accelerometer, multi-touch (yeah, multi-touch), light sensor, proximity sensor, microSD card support, 512MB ROM, 448MB RAM. Connectivity potions are plenty with GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD, HSDPA, 3G, Wi-Fi (and Wi-Fi Router), mini USB and Bluetooth 2.1. On the multimedia side, it has a 5 meg snapper with LED flash, auto focus, geo-tagging, video recording, 3.5 mm standard head phone jack. The phone indeed looks impressive and will be retailing at Euros 540, which i guess is a decent pricing. I guess if it makes its way to India, it would be priced around INR 28,000 to 31,000. You can also check out the two part preview of the HTC HD 2 by SuperChilko of Mobile Bulgaria. The videos are in Bulgarian but you will get the hang of most of the features. [Image via: BeGeek]
