Tata DoCoMo Launches Animation Contest in India Posted: 17 Sep 2009 10:44 PM PDT Tata DoCoMo , India's new GSM entrant is going places with their viral marketing campaigns across print as well as online media. As a apart of this initiative, they have come up with an animation contest where budding as well as seasoned animators can showcase their talent. The criteria are that you should do the animation using any tool, flash, 3dmax, maya  and must be 2D. It should only be made using the D,O,C,O,M,O characters and should have the Do-Do-Do tune playing in the background. The animation should 5-60 seconds and the winners will get a prize of INR 100,000...so cool. Wish I knew flash!! You can also create logos for Tata DoCoMo. Apart from the cash prize, Tata DoCoMo might also use your animation as a TV spot. This is the first time in India where a GSM services provider has come up with a user generated contest, which will eventually become Tata DoCoMo's marketing tool.
