Windows XP Based xpPhone Goes for Pre-Order Posted: 17 Sep 2009 05:07 AM PDT Remember the 120GB xpPhone that was announced by an Chinese company In Technology Group in June 2009. Well the specialty of this phone is that, it has Windows XP as its OS so one of its kind. Forget Windows Mobile It has Windows XP man!! Earlier it was said that it will come with a 120GB HDD but now it will also be available in 30, 60 and 80GB variants along with 120GB variant. The company ITG has started taking pre-orders for the xpPhone. The phone runs on a AMD Super Mobile CPU, which has specifically designed and customized for this brick. You can go to ITG's English website here for more information about the xpPhone pre-order. Check out the specs of the xpPhone below. Very dim chances of this phone making it to the Indian shores. But it will be a good competitor for the recently release Nokia N900.

Samsung Pixon 12 Comes to India @ INR 29,990 Posted: 16 Sep 2009 09:59 PM PDT Samsung has recently launched its 12 megapixel monster, Pixon 12 in India. The phone was officially unveiled (Worldwide) by Samsung in the month of June 2009. Looking at its specs, the phone looks more like a digital camera with voice communication functionality. The Pixon 12 AKA Samsung M8910 boasts of touch auto focus ( like the iPhone 3GS), Xenon Flash, Image stabilizer, 28mm wide angle lens, auto set-up based on environment, face and smile detection, DVD resolution video recording. The Pixon 12 is positioned as an perfect imaging phone. Apart from the imaging features, the phone's other features are pretty impressive with 3.1 inch AMOLED touch screen, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, DivX and XviD support and microSD slot. Pixon 12 is the successor of the Pixon 8 and was supposed to launch at the Mobile World Congress 2009 but didn't make it. Now it has come in India and will be available at a retail price of INR 29,990.
