| Nokia Sells Half Million Nokia Tubes Posted: 25 Jan 2009 11:22 PM PST  Nokia's strategy of selling their mid-range touch screen with a host of features and functionality has come of pretty well. Though the company did not have a very satisfying fourth quarter in the year 2008, it managed to sell half million Tubes or 1 million Nokia 5800 mobile devices. Thats so pretty cool. The phone was recently launched in UK, before that Nokia Tube sold like hot cakes in Russia, Indonesia and also in our own India. Nokia had also made it clear that NOkia 5800 will first make its way to the emerging countries around the world where Nokia has presence. |

Today is 26th Janauary, India's Republic Day. On this date, in the year 1950, India became a republic and the constitution came into force. Below is the message from Dr. Rajendra Prasad, India's first President, "We must re-dedicate ourselves on this day to the peaceful but sure realisation of the dream that had inspired the Father of our Nation and the other captains and soldiers of our freedom struggle, the dream of establishing a classless, co-operative, free and happy society in "his country," "We must remember that this is more a day of dedications than of rejoicing - dedication to the glorious task of making the peasants and workers the toilers and the thinkers fully free, happy and cultured."
