The phone's getting an Over The Air update today, which will enhance some existing features of the phone. Multitouch support is one of the significant feature that this update brings.However the multitouch feature is available only for the browser, maps and Gallery. Google launched the Nexus One at the start of this year. The phone runs on Android 2.1 and its features and applications have been developed by Google itself. The phone is however manufactured by HTC. The Firmware update will now have the Google Goggles app installed on your phone and you can use the Nexus One's camera to start searching the web. Updated Google Maps application version 3.4, which can be synchronized to maps.google.com, automatic night mode for Google maps while driving, search suggestions. Improved 3G connectivity is also one of the enhancements.
