| Nokia Supreme Is the Costliest Nokia Around. Posted: 11 Jan 2010 06:07 PM PST If you thought that Nokia's Vertu range of handsets were one of the most expensive handsets in the Nokia stable then think again. Welcome, Nokia Supreme, the costliest of all Nokia's out there. Taking its design inspiration from the Nokia 8800, this pimped up handsets boasts of 83 grams of platinum, which is used in making the veneers, 8 screws that hold the phone together and a diamond mount for the center button. Apart from the platinum, the phone's studded with 1,225 pink diamonds. The center diamond is a 3 carat single cut flawless one. Now the main and scary part (for poor guys like you and me), the phone will be your if you can shell out $160,000 and it will be shipped to you in a granite case with suave leather interiors. I guess once someone one buys this phone, he/she also needs to invest in some kind of security. |

| Posted: 10 Jan 2010 10:22 PM PST HTC has come up with a very innovative way of promoting its latest Android based phone Hero in the Russian market. HTC is using Chocolate replicas of HTC Hero and sending them to chosen customers. The chocolate looks exactly like the Hero but does not work. Its meant for eating. By the way, the dark brown color looks good. I guess HTC should come with a similar color variant for the HTC Hero. [Images via: English Russia] |
| Video: Samsung OmniaHD Firmware Update Preview Posted: 10 Jan 2010 08:43 PM PST Samsung OmniaHD is going to get a big firmware update in Jan 2010. This was already out in December 2009. OmniaHD is a Symbian based phone from Samsung, which has excellent hardware but the Symbian OS is kind of ok on this phone. The update features kinetic scrolling, updated web browser and an updated graphics engine as stated on Samsung's website. The video below has been shot buy a guy called Anphase who is a OmniaHD user and he got a chance to play around with the OmniaHD with latest Firmware loaded on to it.
