The company has also given an option of pre-order, which makes sense because i you pre-book the phone with a Nokia Priority dealer, you have to give 4000 INR before hand and the rest when the phone arrives in a week or 10 days from now. If you are planning to wait then you have to wait till December 11 (thats when the phone will be coming to most of the shops). Also, you have to shell out 21,000 INR if you pre-order the phone and you can save almost 2000 bucks man!! Pre-order the Nokia E72. |

The phone will be retailing at a price point of $239. On the other hand the 7230, has social component integrated in it as it comes with access to Ovi Services, Flickr and Facebook. The 7230 is the cheaper of the two with 2.4 inch display, 3.2 meg snapper, Bluetooth, FM Radio and the phone will cost around $149. Both these phones are perfect for people who do not want to sacrifice on style and looks but are very price conscious. |
| Nokia Point & Find App Available Globally Posted: 23 Nov 2009 06:13 PM PST
Remember the Nokia Point and Find application, which was introduced in Jan. When launched the app was only available to users in the US and the UK but now the good news is that, the app is available globally and compatible with most of the Nokia S60 devices out there. Initially the use of the app was restricted to movie posters but now its works with most of the real life objects. When pointed at objects the app will give you additional information about them. The application works in-sync with an online database and also with your phone's GPS and then tries to present you the information by the combination of these features. The application also has the ability to read bar codes. The app is a freeware and you can get it from here. Check out the demo video of the Nokia Point and Find Application below, |
