N97 Mini Wins Best Handset Award @ Asia Mobile Awards Posted: 19 Nov 2009 04:48 AM PST I guess Nokia has come up with a winner with the Nokia N97 Mini, as the younger brother of the N97 has won an award for the Best Mobile Broadband Handset. I am sure nobody must have thought that N97 Mini, which was introduced in September 2009 would bag this one. The phone was recently launched in India and will be hitting the retail shelves on 20th November 2009 and will be priced at INR 22k. Looking at the price tag, I am sure that many buyers out there, who were planning to buy the Nokia N97 (big and costly version) will certainly give a thought to the N97 Mini, which is same as the N97 but is more classy but has less memory and no D-Pad. Bada Phone Coming in First Half of 2010 Posted: 18 Nov 2009 06:37 PM PST As you all know that, Samsung's new mobile operating platform, Bada will be making its debut in December 2009 and Samsung will also be opening the SDK to developers during this time period. Samsung already has phones which run on Symbian, Windows Mobile and Android and now it will have its own proprietary platform Samsung Bada and after that it will confuse itself as well as mobile users. Anyway, according to CNET Asia Samsung has confirmed in a media event that the first Bada phone will be coming in the first half of 2010. So you might see a Bada phone in just 7 months from now.There was a rumor that with Bada being launched by Samsung, it will ditch Symbian; But Samsung has denied this saying that, they are committed to their multi-platform strategy and Symbian is the part of this strategy.
