Vertu Announces Vertu Ascent Ti Carbon Fibre Edition

Posted: 20 Jul 2009 07:22 PM PDT

Vertu-Ascent-Ti-Carbon-Fibre.jpgVertu, the premium mobile phone brand from Nokia, has added one more high-end premium phone to its Ascent Ti portfolio. This Ascent Ti is made of carbon fiber, so you can imagine the cost of this phone. Carbon fiber is known for its strength, resistance, light weight and not to forget price. Vertu Ascent Ti made of Carbon Fiber can be a great show off for some of high-end premium mobile phone buyers out there. The phone is handcrafted in UK, where the only Vertu set-up of Nokia lies and made of carbon fiber and resin. The phone is available in Ascent Ti Carbon Fiber Limited Edition, Carbon Fiber Grip, Carbon Fiber & Copper Grip, and Carbon Fiber & Aluminum Grip. Like all the premium phones, features do not matter here as you are paying for the looks and the kind of materials that are used, so forget the features. And, if you are thinking about the price of this phone then it is only available upon request..so forget about it.

iPhone Coming to China in September '09

Posted: 20 Jul 2009 07:01 PM PDT

iphone-china-talks copy.jpgFinally, the Chinese will get to see the official launch of Apple's path breaking touch phone, the iPhone in the month of September. But this does not matter as there are already more than a million iPhones in China, which have entered the country through their favorite gray market route. This useless phone will be available with China Unicom..why I call it useless because the iPhone, which is coming in China will not have Wi-Fi feature, thanks to the government who cares for the safety of people who go online. China has some guidelines with respect to high-speed mobile Internet access and due to these Foxconn is manufacturing a special batch of iPhones, which wont have Wi-Fi, so I guess they would be cheap also. But the million dollar questions is why would people buy this phone, which does not have the Wi-Fi feature and given the fact that majority of the iPhones users around the world enjoy browsing the Internet on their iPhone.
