For iPhone users it is free but for iPod touch users its priced at 10$, don't know why this bias of Apple towards iPhone sibling who cannot communicate. Anyway, you can download the iPhone OS 3.0 for iPhone 3G from here and for first gen iPhone from here. The new iPhone OS 3.0 will give your iPhone features like copy, paste, stereo bluetooth, find my iPhone, landscape keyboard, Internet tethrering,, MMS, shake control, spotlight search, voice recording and its free. But the sad part is that it will turn your jailbroken iPhone into a brick so be sure you have the right tools and expertise and also make sure that you have iTunes 8.2.
