Unboxing Pics: Nokia N79 N Theatre Version

Posted: 07 Jun 2009 10:03 AM PDT

Finally, after living for almost two years with my Nokia 5500 Sports, I decided to part ways with it yesterday and started my search for the perfect replacement to satisfy my mobility needs. I had already decided that I was going to go for the N82, Nokia's best N Series phone. After scouting for the phone in almost 6 to 7 shops and failing miserably, I went to the Nokia flagship store as my final resort where I was expecting to get the Nokia N82. And to my surprise, they have stopped selling it and then my eyes fell on the other N Series device the Nokia N79. I had checked out the N79 long time back but never thought seriously about it. After toying with the device for few minutes, I found the phone as the next best replacement for my old phone (also, Nokia N82 was not there) and the next thing I was doing was paying for the phone at the sales counter. It came as a happy surprise that, Nokia had the N Series N Theatre scheme going on with the N79 and I got 4GB of movies in an extra micro SDHC memory card along with a standard 4GB memory card. I chose their drama collection. Enjoy the unboxing pics below.
