Remember the Nokia 5900 XpressMusic, which leaked and was touted as the successor of the popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Well, CellPassion has the latest and confirmed information about Nokia's road map till June 09 and according to that, this is actually the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, which is a low end version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. This phone initially leaked on a Chinese website but the super bloggers at Cell Passion investigated and came out with the real stuff. The Nokia 5530 is also known as the Nokia Kenzo with features that include, Dimension: 104x49x13 mm 3.2 MP camera with dual LED flash 2.9 inch QVGA touchscreen with 16 million color support Quad-band GSM, EDGE connectivity, no 3G No Wi-Fi or GPS ASP: sub-$200 150 MB internal memory, expandable up to 16 GB. Nokia Kenzo will be hitting the markets in June'09 and looking at the popularity of the Nokia 5800, this low-end successor might deliver some good market figures.

Samsung's Two Mid-range Sliders, S6700 and C5510

S6700_Samsung.jpgS6700 and C5510 are the two latest slider models from Samsung that have surfaced on the web. Both these sliders are mid-range mobile devices. The S6700 looks a lot like the Samsung S7350 and boasts of a 2.4 inch TFT screen with 16 million colors, 3.2 mega pixels snapper, FM with RDS support, Bluetooth 2.1, 120MB internal memory, QUAD Band GSM, HSDPA and support for microSDHC cards.

C5510_Samsung.gifThe C5510 is the other slider that has surfaced with an interesting feature. The phone has a built-in memory of 512 MB, which is surprising and really hard to find in mid-range phones. Anyway, the other feature include, Bluetooth, 2 mega pixel snapper, FM with RDS, 2.2 inch QVGA display with 262000 colors. There is no word from Samsung on bot these phones but I am sure phones like these will certainly give edge to Samsung in markets like India. [Via]
