| Pre-Booking Opens for Nokia N97 in India Posted: 19 May 2009 01:25 AM PDT
As you all know that the Nokia N97 will be launching in June 2009. Nokia Europe opened up the pre-booking of this phone for the European countries in the first week of May. Don't be disheartened, Nokia India has also opened up the pre-booking of the Nokia N97 for Indian Nokia users. The phone has generated much hype since its announcement as it is the first N Series phone with touch UI. If you are one of the prospective buyers of The N97 then you can go here and do the pre-booking of this touch screen multimedia computer, thats what Nokia loves to call the N97. And as it happens with all the pre-bookings, the moment N97 is launched at your city, you will be informed about it. But keep in mind that buying this phone will be a costly affair!!! [Via] |
| Photo Drop for iPhone is actually Useless Posted: 18 May 2009 07:33 PM PDT Check this application that has been recently added to the App Store of Apple. Its called Photo Drop and the only thing that this applications does is that, it just shatters your photos when you run the app and your friends might think that they have done something wrong. The reviewer in the video seems not to me impressed with this "mind-numbing" application. He says that you should take the screen shot of your home screen and then run this application on that photo, looks fun and the physics are also nice. The icons collide with each other, move from one place to another when you shake or tilt your iPhone or iPod touch. Apart from this, the application does not have much use and resetting the application is a pain. When I first had a look at this app demo I suddenly remembered the Bump Top software, that makes your PC/Laptop desktop like your actual cubicle..but BumpTop is way too awesome for Photo Drop. Meet the new S40 phone having 5 mega pixel snapper from Nokia with a brushed metal look, the Nokia 6600i. If you remember, Nokia earlier had a phone named 6600, which was very popular. Though this one shares the name with the good old 6600, it is far better and entirely different from the previous 6600. The slider with a 5 mega pixel snapper is being branded as an imaging phone from Nokia. The brushed metal steel shell makes the phone look cool and maybe style conscious mobile users will get high on this stuff. Other interesting feature about this phone is that it sports a external display, you must be wondering how come a slider has an external display?? Well, the display is hidden and is touch enabled. The touch enabled front face also lets you snooze alarms, silence or reject incoming calls. The phone will be shipped with a 1GB microSD card and you can beef it up to 16GB and it will be compatible with Nokia's own version of the App. Store, the Ovi Store. The phone will be launched in the Q3 2009 for around INR 13,000. [
