Nokia Sells 13 Million Nokia 5800 XpressMusic Phones Posted: 15 Apr 2009 08:37 AM PDT Nokia has sold an insane 13 million Nokia 5800 phone in the last three months. Nokia launched this phone almost three months back and to everybody's surprise the sales have surpassed expectations. Director of Forum Nokia, North America disclosed the sales figure at the CTIA 2009. In Jan 2009, Nokia confirmed that, Nokia 5800 surpassed 1 million units. The phone sold freakin 12 million units in almost two months, that sales figure must have left many mouths wide open. Nokia 5800 is first Nokia touch screen phone based on the S60 version 5 UI and was always touted as the iPhone killer. Though it was not able to kill iPhone, Nokia 5800 has carved its own niche. Currently I am using the Nokia 5800 and I find it a pretty useful smart phone, leave apart some of the disappointments you might face with the touch screen freezing.
