Lost Nokia Phone, Found Inside a Fish

Posted: 27 Feb 2009 10:39 PM PST

Fish_Nokia.jpgThe Sun UK reports that, a guy called Andrew lost his Nokia cell phone as it fell from his pocket into the sea. One week after Andrew had lost his cell phone and he was roaming around with his girlfriend, her mobile rang and to her amazement it was Andrew's number. When they spoke to the guy on the other side of the phone, who happened to be a fisherman by the name Glen, they came to know that Geln has found Andrew's cell phone, no not on the sea florr but inside a Cod fish. When glen was gutting his daily catch he came across Andrew's cell phone inside its stomach. The best part is that after Andrew got the phone, he dried it out and to his amazement the phone is still wokring. I guess Nokia should use this peice of story for some kind of viral marketing about the robustness of Nokia phones after the recently uncovered Nokia 5800 Speaker fiasco. Robust Army Phone with a Compass

a1.jpgIf you thought that, the US Sectera Edge was the most robust and function laden phone, then check this tough guy out. The name is kind of weird, CoolFA01. This phone has been specially designed for People's Liberation Army and armed policemen. The specialty of this phone is that it is highly customized to work in Water, Desert and dense jungles. You can easily make out from the image that this is a no nonsense phone and has been specially designed for the military, even the design says so. The phone comes equipped with a powerful torch and laser equipment that helps in finding people and marking location in darkness. The phone also has a military grade compass, temperature and pressure gauge. You also get a special military knife with this phone. By the design, the phone looks like a old militray wireless receiver but has some cool functions. Check out more pictures below.
