| Posted: 29 Jan 2009 06:03 PM CST iPhone 2.2.1 minor update was released by Apple, which includes You can update your iPhone to 2.2.1 through iTunes very easily. Here are the steps we covered in our earlier post to update the firmware : Make sure you are using iTunes 8. Connect your iPhone to your computer. If you still don't have the latest version of iTunes, Download it from here : iTunes 8 After connecting, open iTunes and select your iPhone under Devices in the Source List on the left. In the iPhone Summary pane, click Check for Update. And the just click Download and Install.Do not disconnect your iPhone until the update has finished. Please keep in mind the its not advisable for jailbreaked/unlocked iPhone owners to update their iPhone to 2.2.1 until the hack is out. |
