New 8 Mega Pixel Touch Screen Slider from Samsung Posted: 30 Dec 2008 01:42 AM PST Seems Samsung is building a army of mobile phones with 8 mega pixel snappers. After the Samsung Innov8 and Samsung Pixon, the company will soon be launching one more 8 mega pixel touch screen mobile phone, S8300, in the year 2009. The phone has a huge OLED touch screen with built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor. I am not sure for what this proximity sensor will be used for, may be the phone gets activated when its owner stands near to it or something like that. A phone with massive touch screen is something that turns me on. Other specifications of the S8300 include a 8 mega pixel camera with auto focus, GPS receiver, TouchViz interface, VGA recoding, support for DivX videos, HSDPA connectivity, FM Radio with RDS, Bluetooth, microSD card support.
